THE EYE SORE

PHOTOS

Something asks you to help humanity and against all desire, you attempt. Without the continuous flow of love and peace, you crave substitutes. Human pleasures are like a fix from heaven, but never as divine. There will be scrutiny, pain, exhaustion, but nothing will fulfill you quite like life purpose. I promise you are not alone. So many will not understand the things you do, or why. You are not perfect but always forgiven. Here you have so much guidance inside of you that is just waiting to be tapped into. Your parents are scared that you will get hurt in the process, but those trials will arm you with a fire that will burn anyone who tries to rob you of your authentic self.  Don't fear your oddities, use them to your advantage. People will tell you to be ashamed of who you are, or where you come from. Ignore them. There is nothing you need to prove to these lower level energies. Trust the voice you were given and gift that to the rest of the world. We may be part of an uncontrollable cosmic scheme of events, but that doesn't make your existence meaningless.

What will you leave behind? Who will you touch?

SHOES *

Last year was definitely a character builder, but I'm grateful we all remain on top of the hill with middle fingers raised in triumph. I'm feeling light-footed and cozy in my PopJulia slippers, snow days and all. I've never been more relieved to cuddle up indoors with a cup of chai tea and the occational bubble bath.  Overcompensating during winter by gorging on goodwill sweaters and candles is not only excusable, but also nessecary this time of year. With everyone hiding in their warm homes, I have ample alone time. Picking up old hobbies has become my new theme; ballet being the most recent.  This year the intention is to spend more of my time doing activities I enjoy, instead of always worrying about whether I am wasting my time on simple pleasures.  I have yet to reach the point of cabin fever, but there is still time. Wish me luck and remember, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
